Reincarceration
Earth is a prison and you are an inmate cycling through rebirths.
You move around a 36-space ring. Every space is a life you can be born
into. You claim them, you collect rent from the others, and you try to
assemble the three fragments that let you leave.
There are two currencies. Light is ordinary money. Dark is free power —
refuse to pay rent, bribe the warden, steal someone's channel, no cost
today. But every point of Dark past four drains Light each time you pass
Intake, and raises the bar you have to clear to get out. The ward with
the highest rent in the game is also the one that makes escape
impossible while you own it.
When you have all three fragments you get exactly one shot at parole.
The other inmates can burn their own Dark to veto it.
Single player against three bots with different consciences: a Saint who
never takes Dark, a Sinner who always does, a Pragmatist who breaks when
broke. About 40 minutes. No sign-up, no install, plays in the browser.
Of the matches played so far, most end in a breakout. A few people never
get out at all.
